As I have mentioned before in my Sephora VIB Haul, I did the makeup of the bridal party as well as for the bride for my sister in law's wedding. Because it was my first real makeup session for other people, I did practice a few times before the wedding. It was so helpful, because I got an idea on how makeup translates so differently on different skin tones. Anyways, here is the kit I used without the makeup brushes and I was extremely happy with my results.
Maybelline Color Tattoo Leather in Creamy Beige: This is really great base and primer for eyes. It is creamy matte formula that I use daily. Highly recommend it!
Lancome Audacity Eyeshadow Palette: I really like this palette. I always loved Lancome eyeshadows for my oily eyelids. Although they are not as pigmented or soft as urban decay, they blend naturally and last longer on my lids. Urban decay shadows seriously don't do anything on my hooded lids.
Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Exposed: I used this one on all the bridesmaids. This one really works on everyone, specially on lighter skin tone. I try to skip this one on myself, because the color accentuates my acne hyperpigmentations.
Dior Healthy Glow Blush: I used this one on the bride's cheek as well as on myself. It gives such a beautiful natural glow. You can barely tell there is any blush, which I think works really well for very pale skin tones. Also it does not accentuate any problem that is on my skin, which is amazing.
Maybelline Fit me Concealer in Cafe: This blended seamlessly and worked perfectly for contouring.
Maybelline Fit me Concealer in Sand: I used this color for spot coverage. I was really impressed with how it did not accentuate spots, which tends to be the case with many concealers in my experiences.
Maybelline Dream Lumi Concealer in Nude Chair: I used this one for highlighting under the eye. I think it did the job. It had a very natural finish.
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Kit in opal: I used the liquid one first then set the liquid one up with the powder shimmer. I loved how fine the highlighting was. I actually understand now why they are so hyped. I can see them (at least this color) being little too much on people with darker skin tone. For lighter to medium skin tone, they have very natural finish.
Dior Rouge Dior Couture Colour Voluptuous Care Lipstick in Rose Caprice: I used whatever lip color girls brought themselves on them. I use this bright pink color on myself. This looks great on pictures and leaves really nice pink stain.
While I was writing this, I realized I have so many Maybelline products. I guess I really like their stuff. I hope you enjoyed this post.
