SENECA LAKE WINE TOUR

wine_tour_grapes

Last weekend, we went on a wine tour around Seneca Lake with my in laws, grandparents and their friends. I have so much to study, but I needed a break anyway, so I was excited to just chill out on Sunday. We stopped by 4 or 5 wineries and breweries and had great dinner at a local place and headed home. Central New York is known for its wineries around the Finger Lakes and is a tourist destination for many. If you are around the area, please make sure to go on a wine tour around one of the Finger Lakes for sure.

Shalestone was the last place we stopped by. It was a very small winery and only offered red wine, which I prefer anyway. We loved the owner's mix wine, Synergy, so much that we spent $34 on a bottle of wine. I can't wait to have some. Actually I might just have some tonight.

I am not a big beer person, but I am on a mission to find a beer that I like, so I don't have to be clueless about ordering when I am in a group. I hate getting something I don't like when it comes to drinks, so mind as well learn about it and ensure I order something I like. So far I have discovered that I hate dark beer. I like lighter beer with some body. Lagers are too light for my taste. Everything I like always ends up being pale ale. So maybe I am a pale ale person, who knows. You can probably already tell that I know nothing about beer.

I wore these bangles, so I don't feel guilty for rarely wearing them. Two on the sides with a bow and color block are gifts from my sister in law from Kate Spade and the rest was a set from Coach that was a gift from my husband for our anniversary. They are pretty old, so I just linked similar items if you are interested in exploring your options.

Let me know if you have a favorite beer or wine, so I can keep them in my mind when I want to try something new to drink.
