Night Skincare Routine: Acne Prone Sensitive Skin

  1. I start off with deep cleansing everything with Shu Uemura Fresh Pore Cleansing Oil every other day. I simplified my skincare routine by skipping a day with deep cleansing, and it has not given me any problems. I have reviewed this cleansing oil, if you are interested to learn more about it.
  2. On days I don't use the cleansing oil, I use Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water to remove my makeup. It does a great job cleansing my skin on daily bases without any irritation. It needs some help with removing mascara. Otherwise, I appreciate the affordability and accessibility of this product.
  3. I clean with Clean and Clear Cleaning Astringent after the micellar water to remove any other residual makeup and micellar water. In addition, it is a chemical exfoliate to remove any dead skin to prevent clogged pores and breakouts.
  4. On days my skin seems dull, I use a couple pumps of Tatcha Luminous Deep Hydration Firming Serum to bring some life to my skin. I reviewed the serum if you want to learn more about it.
  5. I have facial skin discolorations from acne. I find Kiehl's Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution to be helpful when I need to even out my skin tone. I don't use this every day, but it is one of the most effective products I have tried for hyperpigmentation.
  6. Night cream is the most important part of my everyday skin care routine. It helps to calm and rejuvenate my skin after long day of work. I have been using Bosica Sake Cream for a while now. I reviewed the cream and talked more about why I love it in a different post.
  7. Eye cream is another must have in my skincare, since I noticed skin around my eyes gets dry and wrinkly. I have been using Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream for a while and have no intention of changing it. I reviewed why I love this eye cream in the past as well.
