Every Day Makeup: Med School Edition

  1. After I go through my morning skin care routine, I use Bare Minerals Original Foundation to even out my skin tone and reduce appearance of my acne scar. I reviewed this product here
  2. I set the mineral foundation with Bare Minerals Mineral Veil. I really love the finish of this product. I talked more about why I prefer Mineral Veil over other setting powders in the review post
  3. I have been using Sigma Kabuki Brushes for years now. I really love how they blend any kind of face products without much of an effort. They are perfect, when you are busy in the morning.
  4. I have hooded oily eyelids. So my eye makeup would not stay put more than 10 minutes without eye primers. I have been using Urban Decay Primer for years, and it has not disappointed me. I have not tried anything else, because the price point is unbeatable.
  5. Tom Ford Coco Mirage has been my go to basic eyeshadow palette this year, because it is insanely easy to blend, and results in really natural look. I talked more about it in the review
  6. MAC brushes are must have for my eye makeup. Without them, I would look like a clown every day. I can definitely do my makeup without brushes, but these brushes makes my life much easier every morning.
  7. Over the years, I have realized I am more of a lip balm person on daily bases. But I want some color to bring some life into my face, when I am tired. My solution is Fresh Sugar Lips in Tulip. They are really moisturizing tinted lip balms. I reviewed it recently.
  8. Mascara is the only thing I put on before I leave if I am too tired or busy. L'Oreal Voluminous  Waterproof has been my go to one over the last two months. I think it is a really good drug store option for super volume and length without breaking the wallet.
