Tatcha Luminous Deep Hydration Firming Serum is my current skin pick me up. I use it over my moisturizer at night as needed when my skin is dull. I wake up with healthier and more rested skin.
It has jelly texture and iridescent color from the 23-k gold content. Supposedly the gold particles will work as shimmery highlighter under makeup, but I haven't tried it during the day due to its jelly texture. Jelly texture is supposed work as a makeup primer, but it feels too sticky for my taste for that purposes.
The active ingredients are algae, green tea and bran oil extracts and hyaluronic acid. I appreciate the plant based ingredients, but I am more excited that it is formulated without parabens, sulfates and pthalates.
Overall, I enjoy Tatcha Luminous Deep Hydration Firming Serum, but I am not entirely sure if it is worth the price tag. I thought Ren offers similar serums for more affordable price. I am interested in trying more Tatcha skincare products in the future though.
