You guys probably know by now that I have a problem skin and hate things that break me out. I find foundations to be the most irritating makeup for acne prone skin and could break skin out with only single use. Because my skin is just horrible bare, I use foundation pretty much 90% of the time. I have recently reviewed Lancome Teint Idole which is great for oily/combination skin, but I have found a great alternative for affordable price.
Covergirl 3 in 1 Foundation in Buff Beige is my everyday foundation for now. I use it with my Chanel foundation brush #6 (reviewed here), which works well. I bought it for $8 at target, the cheapest price in the market. The coverage is medium to full and blends easily giving very natural matte finish. It lasts for 8 hours in cooler weather, and for about 5 hrs in humid weather.
Shade availability is impressive, but they run shade or two darker after application. It oxidizes on skin, becoming darker with orange undertone. I have read that other people experienced it as well. So pick a shade or two lighter than you expect and if you find it bit orange, go lighter. I love Covergirl 3 in 1 foundation and would be repurchasing it for a while for sure.
