I have been using the Cover Girl 3 in 1 Foundation for over a year (reviewed here), but now I am interested in finding something that is more glowy. L'oreal infallible pro-matte foundation is a recent addition to their infallible line. I have always had a good experience with the line and Claire from Hey Claire and Rae from Raeviewer recommended this foundation, so I tried it.
The color range is more limited compared to the other foundations offered from L'oreal, but decent. I bought it in 104 Golden Beige, which is the lightest of the yellow toned colors. I believe I am somewhere around MAC NC20 and it is slightly darker than I prefer, but definitely workable.
It has lighter and runny texture, but it facilitates easier application, natural finish and lighter feel. It blends really well and appears like the second skin. The coverage is medium to full, but more on the medium side. Overall, L'oreal infallible pro-matte foundation fulfills its promises of demi-matte and air-light finish. Unfortunately, I would not say it is 24 hr foundation on combination to oily skin.
The biggest issue for me is that the foundation does not completely set even after finishing powder. You could easily scrap off the foundation with the slightest scratch. I guess if you don't touch your face a lot, it might not be a problem. Otherwise the foundation is great and I would recommend it for all skin types, specially considering its affordable price ($12.99).
